Please contact the PM if interested.

The Elgin & District Pipes and Drums is a non-competition street/concert band made up of men and women with various levels of experience and backgrounds.  We enjoy supporting our communities by offering excellent musicianship at parades, ceremonies and other functions.  We are always open to newcomers, experienced pipers or drummers.  For more formal look have a look at our RCMP side of the band.

Pipe Major Wanda Goundrey
Winner of the 2007 Gen. John de Chastelain Special Award for Piping
by the Quebec Thistle Council

Awarded annually to the Quebec piper who has contributed with distinction to the furtherance of the art of playing the bagpipe. This is ascertained through a general assessment of the piper’s ability, technique and deportment in playing the standard favourite bagpipe tunes, playing solo for Scottish Country Dancing and Highland dancing and playing for traditional Scottish events and celebrations including dinners, wakes and weddings.

We are on the look out for new members.
